Untitled (San Lorenzo, New Mexico)
A metaphor for the conflict between rationality and emotion; betweeen Apollo and Dionysus; between the empirical and the supernatural; between stasis and revolution...

our motto and mission is to

tickle the idiot
rapture the faithful
pity all the ignorant and hateful

illuminate the enlightened
confound the intellectual
with life distilled flood memory's temple

To use the common and vulgar vernacular, you raaaaawk, good sir! Unusual to find such creativity, imagination and intelligence in one little cranium, certainly.

Now that I've (sincerely) flattered your ego, may I be permitted a shamelss plug?
If you and your visitors need an amusing divergence, how about registering as a user at Fanpop! and clicking on my fanspot at http://www.fanpop.com/ then going to spots/magicskyblue (that's me), then hitting 'I'm a Fan' then asking an entirely spurious question?
Although I do produce digital artwork (corruptions of stuff I've nicked from the web), I want the whole thing, your collaboration included, to be an ongoing artwork in itself (if you ask a question, always invite participation by hitting the 'can users add their own answer' button). You are now part of magicskyblue - have fun!

But you really should have a Chums box. How does anyone know how damned popular you are if you don't have a Chums box? Or is it vulgar to have one?
